I can provide a range of services for schools, local authorities and families, making it faster and easier for you to find the right support for your child.

DBS checked, insured and qualified

​

I provide specialist SEND support for children and young people in mainstream, private and special needs schools, pupil referral units and individuals who are unable to access an educational setting. I am able to develop respectful, meaningful and trusting relationships inside and outside of an educational setting.

I am DBS checked and have up-to-date public liability insurance.

Experienced and qualified in a range of SEND

​

I have many years of experience working with children and young people with various special needs and enjoy helping them flourish in their skills and confidence.

Home, online or school-based SEND teaching to individuals with the following conditions:

• Autism Spectrum Condition

• Anxiety and reduced self-confidence;

• Speech and language needs including receptive and expressive language, and non-verbal communication;

• Executive functioning and study skills needs;

• Sensory and/or auditory processing needs;

• Processing and memory difficulties;

• ADHD

• DCD (Dyspraxia);

• Dyslexia;

• Other SEND, including trauma and OCD

Working with EHCPs

I provide holistic and personalised sessions to show developments in the relevant sections on an individual’s EHCP, including:

• Cognition and learning

• Communication and speech and language

• Social, emotional and mental health

• Building confidence, self-esteem and resilience

• Managing anxiety and behaviour

• Focus, concentration and attention skills

• Social skills and friendship skills

• Independence, executive functioning and self-help

Tracking progress

I provide evidence to show developments in these areas to apply for an EHCP, including:

  • Weekly written schemes of work to meet outcomes and targets set by the EHCP

  • Weekly reports written to show evidence of progress and to inform planning and next steps

  • Termly reports written to evidence topics covered, progression towards targets and progress

  • Termly tracking charts filled in to show objects have been achieved

  • Feedback given after each session to parents to summarise progress and next steps
