Speech and Language Therapy

Are you concerned about your child's speech, language and communication development?

The ability to communicate is important for your child to express their wants and needs. It plays an essential role in our learning, ability to build relationships, how we relate to one another and how we integrate into society.

Speech and Language Therapy can help to empower individuals and break down the barriers that are created by communication difficulties.

I can provide creative and high-quality speech and language therapy for the following difficulties:

  •  Attention and listening skills

  •  Understanding language and following directions

  •  Using language and expressing thoughts

  •  Social skills

  •  Rhythm and musical skills

  •  Developmental Language Disorder

  •  Speech sound difficulties

  •  Profound & multiple learning difficulties

  •  EHCP Assessment & Reports

  •  Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)  e.g PECS.

Where is speech and language therapy delivered?

Speech and language therapy is usually delivered in your home or with permission, your child’s school in Bristol. I also offer online therapy using Google Meet and Zoom.

I work closely with families and carers to provide tailored and personalised assessment and therapy for children with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties. I often integrate music into my therapy to creatively support and engage each individual.
